Panayiotis Xanthou KTHs Violin/Guitar Teacher in collaboration with Panos Panay (founding managing director / berkleeICE ), participated in an innovative lecture regarding “Making to Think:Leadership through Art”Addressing in the Univesrity of Cyprus on 6^th of April 2016.Lectures details as follows
Challenges in a globe facing rapid flux, exponentially growing knowledge, and increasing uncertainty and volatility requires that we begin by making rather than thinking. More so, we must learn effective ways of making that unlock thinking and get results. Aithan Shapira MFA PhD began at the Royal College of Art and Design and set off to study the most proficient, unconventional makers and maker-educators—artists and leading art colleges from around the globe—and dissect their processes for reframing challenges, shifting perspectives, deeply observing, experimenting, and collaborating. Making to Think integrates these creative skillsets with change-makers and their teams to turn disruption into opportunity, ambiguity into achievement, and change into maximized innovative output.

This two-day program convenes Cyprus’ prominent entrepreneurs, diplomats, executives, and cultural leaders jointly in immersive workshops designed to uncover unique perspectives and arts-based tools for observation, analysis, and problem-solving as differentiating strategy for leading change. Curated as a sequence of four sessions, the first is a talk that rethinks strategies for generating creativity with effective ways of making in order to think that emerge in studio progressions of art giants from Jackson Pollock to David Hockney. Session 2 brings you within an arm’s length of top musicians to listen and rethink leadership. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves in Session 3 for hands-on immersion that challenges assumptions and conventional strategies, and builds confidence in uncertainty. Session 4 will meet at the Leventis Gallery for a far from conventional tour and exercises that dive deep into decision-making from the maker’s perspective.

19^th of March was the international Earth Hour event. Let us all spread the message that our Home,our Planet is in danger.Give the good example by saving energy.A concert dedicated to planet earth.A collaboration of the KTH Music and the European University students.The event took place at the EUCs premises ,an initiative taken from the EUCs staff members.

Our students presented music from the cinema.12 Bands soloists and ensembles presented music throughout the ages which was a part of movies and music series and sequels.

5 Student Bands of KTH played at “Christmas Avenue” on Makariou Street.

Την Κυριακή 14/12/2014 η ώρα 11:30 το μεσημέρι στην οδό Στασικράτους στη Λευκωσία, μερίδα μαθητών μας έπαιξε Χριστουγεννιάτικα τραγούδια.
Ηταν κάτι το συναρπαστικό και πολλοί μαθητές μας κέρδισαν την εμπειρία στο να παίζουν μπροστά σε κόσμο και να μπαίνουν στο Πνεύμα των Χριστουγέννων.

H εταιρεία μας εγκαινιάζει κύκλο σεμιναρίων.Το πρώτο θα είναι  με τον γνωστό κατασκευαστή μουσικών οργάνων  Γιώργο Παπάζογλου. Ο κ.Παπάζογλου θα μας παρουσιάσει ένα σεμινάριο που 1^η φορά θα γίνει στην Κύπρο. Θα μας μιλήσει για το σωστό tuning της κιθάρας, το Set Up, συντήρηση και διάφορα σχετικά για την ηλεκτρική , κλασσική κιθάρα και Μπάσο. Το σεμινάριο θα διαρκέσει 1 ώρα και μετά θα δεχτεί ερωτήσεις ο καλεσμένος για 30 λεπτά. Το Σεμινάριο είναι ανοιχτό για όλους και θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο

 SteelFortressRecordingStudio     (ΡΗΓΑΙΝΗΣ 12, ΑΓΙΟΣ ΔΟΜΕΤΙΟΣ) 

June 2014, 2 concerts. Students from Grade 1 to 5 presented the concert “THE PLANET OF THE CHILDREN”
Students from Grade 6 and above presented the concert “HARMONY OF THE SPHERES”
Both concerts had at their main objective nature and earth.

June 2013, a two day concert at theater Dionyssos under the name “From Baroque to Rock”, Seventeen Bands, soloists and aural ensembles of ours presented music from 1700 to 2000. In this concert also were presented students of ours who graduated from International Universities or were currently studying Music in Cyprus or Abroad
